Mac connect to server with different username
This bug has been annoying me for months, and searching every corner of the web had provided me with no solutions - it now works like a charm. Thank you!

Then I right-click on my home dir which is on the eMac and pick map network drive. I select as different user and put in my short user name and password. Then my home dir gets mounted as drive Z: and when I am done I go to computer and right-click drive Z: and select disconnect.
If I were to create another user they would fight over the the tuner. I need to get to videos and pictures on my wife's account in the eMac as well, so one account will not cut it. Oh sometimes Windows complains about the disconnect. Lost your password?
